Fourth of July Fireworks Safety Tips for Tempe?

6/27/2022 (Permalink)

Fireworks for the Fourth of July celebration in Tempe burst over the Tempe Town Lake. We are trusted leaders in fire damage restoration in Maricopa County.

Our local North Tempe, Mesa Central, and Paradise Valley teams respond to fire damage emergencies 24-hours a day in Tempe. Tempe allows some types of fireworks to be purchased by people 18 years and older and used within these restrictions:

Fireworks cannot be set off except between June 24 through July 6 and December 24 through January 3. Even during those times, there are restrictions about setting off fireworks, and individuals cannot set off fireworks on any public property.

Fireworks that can be used within the restrictions are:

  • Ground and handheld sparkling devices
  • Cylindrical fountains
  • Cone fountains
  • Illuminating torches
  • Wheels
  • Ground spinners
  • Flitter sparklers
  • Toy smoke devices
  • Wire sparklers or dipped sticks
  • Multiple tube ground and handheld sparkling devices, cylindrical fountains, cone fountains, and illuminating torches
